Getting Started

MyTabiCare is a care coordination and sharing platform that helps caregivers and families stay informed through structured, permission-based updates about a loved one's daily care.

MyTabiCare is intended for caregivers, care providers and authorized family members supporting a loved one's care, for short term or long term care needs and whether together or miles apart.

You can join by accepting an invitation sent by the Supporter coordinating your Family Care Team. Once accepted, you'll have access based on your assigned role.

Privacy & HIPAA Compliance

MyTabiCare is designed to support HIPAA privacy and security requirements when used appropriately. Access to information is controlled by user roles and permissions.

Health-related information shared in MyTabiCare, such as care notes, wellbeing updates, and observations, may be considered protected health information (PHI) and is handled accordingly.

Only individuals who are invited to the family care team and assigned appropriate permissions can view care information.

No. Personal contact details such as email addresses or phone numbers are not shared with other users.

Access, Roles & Permissions

Roles may include caregivers, care coordinators, and family members. Each role has specific permissions that determine what information can be viewed or shared.

  • Supporter is the one who coordinates care and collaborates with the care team
  • Loved One is the care recipient
  • Care Pro is a care professional providing caregiving updates on daily care
  • Family Caregiver is a family member providing caregiving updates on daily care
  • Family Member supports the family care team and primarily views updates and stays informed

Yes. Access levels are role-based, allowing coordinators to limit what different users can see or do within the app.

Yes. Authorized coordinators can remove users from a family care team at any time, which immediately restricts access.

Care Updates & Content

Updates may include daily care notes, general wellbeing observations, and routine activity information. MyTabiCare is NOT intended for emergency communication or clinical diagnosis.

Update frequency depends on the Loved One's needs, but family care team members are notified whenever a new update is shared.

Care updates are shared by authorized users. MyTabiCare DOES NOT independently verify or interpret care information.

Authorized users may be able to edit or remove updates depending on their role and permissions.

Notifications & Communication

Notifications are designed to be minimal and may not include detailed health information. Users must log in to view full content securely.

Yes. Users can manage notification settings within their account preferences.

Account Security

MyTabiCare uses industry-standard security measures such as secure authentication and access controls to help protect user accounts. Logging into different devices requires re-authentication as an additional security measure.
